Yes it is sad to see how telkom treats their customers and their bad service.
I am just sick and tired fighting/arguing with companies like Telkom.
From long queues without getting acknowledged, customers turning around and leaving without any of the staff caring, bad training of staff, sitting on phones for hours, etc etc.

I ordered 2 miboxes from Miafrica after this whole sour ordeal with Telkom as well as issues with my apple tv.
In less than 48 hours it was delivered to my door in the small town of Hermanus which, trust me, is impressive.
From ordering, communication inbetween to delivery its been a pleasant experience. Made my day knowing that some companies still do care for their customers.

I feel for you with your box, just like mine (only 3 weeks old), heading to head office where someone there will attempt to fix it.
3 weeks wiil go by and after numerous phone calls, going into stores numerous times etc hopefully we will know what the result is.

Sorry its so long but hopefully it will help others if they ever need to get info on telkoms return/repair policy

If they come back and tell me that the box is faulty and that they have repaired it, i will demand that they replace it with a new unit in line with their 7 day policy. I explicitly told the staffer that dont want a repaired unit. I want a replacement.

My nVidia Shield remote every now and then stops connecting, and it's a pain to get it working again, so I'm just going to replace it with this. It should work on the LIT as well.

The thing that sucks though, there's no third party remote that works with Google Assistant at all.

Perhaps on Android, but on my iPhone, it crashes the app every time I try the voice option, and I don't seem to be the only one.
