Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Hey guys I've been distracted for quite a while and have been neglecting this thread but I'm back, I just wanted to know about the progress of getting Netflix working properly also are they planning on releasing an update for the Lit Box anytime soon? I feel like telkom released and abandoned the box??

Knowing Telkom they will never release an updated for the box, and regarding Telkom getting Netflix Certification this I feel will never happy. The powers that be will not allow a international streaming services like Netflix to compete with Showmax and DSTV Monopoly.

Mine stopped reading flashdrives this week.

The flashdrive was formatted FAT32, did not want to read it. It worked fine on my PC, I reformatted it with FAT32 and then it worked on the Android Box
 
just reading this thread, and it seems like a lot of issues are starting to pop up on these lit boxes

I aint formatting my drive to Fat32... Such a ****ty box this. Think im just going to get a me a proper Droid box with full Play support.

I'm starting to lose a bit of faith as well. Just feels... unpolished, I dunno.

But a Shield is so fkn expensive.

Same, like the Shield but ai its alot of moola for a media player.

Im gonna search for some good pure android media players and get one

I dont think its the format thats an issue

Fat32 or ntfs shouldnt matter

For me there was just no power. That was also why i couldnt use my airmouse.

Yes. Taking it back is a shlep. But rather get ur money back and buy a mibox

Yup, same price as the lit box and now offered locally - seems like the better option
