Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

My box asked for an update, I then choose ti update. It then updated for 5 min only to switch off by itself and ever since I am unable to switch it on again. The red ligjt is on (power) and when I switch it on with the remote, the red lights just flashes. How do I fix this or is it installing in the background

I have the same issue, but happened after it asked for an update

@Nology, I experienced issues when selected to update. Box doesn't wabt to switch on, red lights just flashes when I use the remote to switch it on. Using A11.
 
Still no update. Thinking of going back to a pure android media player, and flash my own custom roms.

Is it Netflix that's making you anxious for the update?

I'm not even sure how to check for the update.

Im not bothered either by the update, only reason is that i want my damn **** to work now. Its not only Dstv now, its also bloody youtube and Netflix that's freezing up or something freezing the entire box. Im getting fed up with having to pull the plug to get it working again.
 
So got the 1st update. Netflix in the store still doesnt work, neither does DSTV now. Do i assume that it will work once i get the 2nd update?
 
Okay 2nd update done. Can’t get DSTV Now working sadly. I enter the code needed, but nothing happens on the tv app

Shows success once I enter the code, but nothing on the app on the litbox. @Nology can you check on this please?
