Ok I went ahead and bought a MI Box S from makro as a LIT replacement considering they are R1500 now.
Me on the other hand, went to go buy a LIT box and Netflix isnt supported from app store and the DSTV now app does nothing? if i enter the app it doesnt give me a sign in option or anything, REALLY disappointing stuff man!!!!!
i cant seem to find a way to delete dstv now off it either to redownload from app store, if i search for it on appstore it doesnt even appear

is there some kinda serial number i can check for you guys to tell me whatsup?
So somewhere in the middle of serial number will give a letter and number.
Something like SDTVB1C06048 ....sometimes they have a space SDTVB1 C06 048
The letter is the year (C is 2019, B is 2018, A is 2017 and the number the month 01 - Jan , 02 - Feb, 03 - March. Anything from a late B, should do Netflix by default. The A needed to be upgraded to the latest Android ... and I assume if it sat in the cupboard for so long, it may have missed it. @Nology should be able to sort you out with the serial number.
A11 ... so November 2017.
You need to the update as you were skipped
Should do it over the air.do you send the device to them? or is it something we can do at home? im from Cape Town area
Should do it over the air.
They'll push two upgrades to you, as you're probably still Android 7.0
The first is going to take you to Android 8.0 - but Netflix still won't work.
The next is going to get the Netflix certification.
you legend! appreciate MyBB more and more everyday
