Either they don't have a clue or want to sell their own boxes to the clueless, which I regard as abuse, if they have by some good fortune already come into posession of a LIT TV box. And I was almost ready to chuck some cash their way. Support local and all that, now I'll just skip.

Checked their site now, and avoid those boxes at all costs. None of them to my knowledge are Google certified. They clearly haven't a clue and also trying to mislead customers

Also selling pirated content as an add on lol

Like said, already did. Should you first do sd card as internal, then install apps for them to use or would installed apps use new space provided by sd card.

Do SD to internal 1st, as the already installed apps might behave badly, as you have now changed the storage option .
 
Will do a reset later then setup again, see if works

Auto-playing video with sh1tty music had made me leave without reading further.
 
Anyone got an SSH Server working on the LIT box without root-ing the device? It's frustrating editing files via ES Explorer. It's easier to edit it on my laptop via SSH or FTP the file once I've modified it

Edit it on your PC and copy over with ADB?

You can use ADB over the network so position shouldn't matter.

Enable developer options on the box (tap many times on one of the items in about android)
Then connect with ADB to the box's IP address over the network
Accept the popup that says your pc requests access to use ADB on the box
And then you can read and write files with ADB.

Anybody been getting a Video Playback Error for DSTV Now App? Been doing this for the past 2 days now. Sometimes the app itself doesn't load and an error displays on the home screen. 403 error.
I am using a VPN, connecting from overseas and highly think this is the cause. Without using the VPN and trying, it displays the usual Region Blocked error.

I have not had issues with DSTV Now app, for once the last while, so VPN strong possiblity for your issue.

Seems like it was a VPN issue. Changed VPN's and working again. Using Windscribe for now.

I was using Avast Secureline which worked quite fine the past 6 months. Seems like DSTV maybe blocked the IP or detecting multiple usernames connecting fron same IP or clamping down on VPN's.

Last night my dstv now wasnt working at all, throwing me server error messages, i will have to check it out this evening once im home again
