Don't do it. I stupidly applied the update on Friday afternoon - the system reported that the download was good but it looks like there is now a resolution mismatch between the box and my TV so not even a reset helps.
 
I have still not been upgraded on my A11. Not using VPN, so I will be fine with it, I believe. Anybody else still waiting or in possession of some kind of timetable?
 
Is it normal after the update that every time we reboot the box, it requires to re-pair the remote? Are we all experiencing that? I've got the infrared remote so it's a bit stupid to have to pair it at all...

How would one pair the IR remote? What interface do you use to the box if that isn't working?

Ja I've seen that. And I also have the IR remote, so yep it's pretty stupid.

I just leave the thing on now.
 
Same here. Updated last night. All apps (netflix, plex, dstv now, kodi) had to be set up from scratch again. My remote back key is not working suddenly. I also have an older wifi router in the bedroom - the lit box suddenly also don't seem to see or be able t to connect. I think skip this "update" if you can for now...

I used button mapper to remap the back button. Now works like it should again (had to add the back button manually)

Got the router to work. I forgot the ssid was not broadcasted for that router. Fixed back button with button mapper app ...
 
Hmmmm, so on 9.6.7 Amazon Prime HDR is borked for me. This is on two separate LITs and two separate TVs.

What I have noticed is that the output video modes of the Lists no longer gives the options of 8bit, 10bit and 12bit. Now there's a Color Depth option which seems to either push a 8bit or 12bit signal. It seems that as the LIT now says 12bit when Color Depth is enabled, Amazon Prime pushes Dolby Vision which my TVs don't support causing the picture to be washed out. I am speculating, but I am sure this is the issue.

Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube displaying HDR nicely though.

I think it has to do with Google Assistant. I think we should have said NO during update. Not sure how to disable after update is complete though.
 
Anybody else having an issue when using WIndscribe, it'll randomly say no internet or Ethernet cable not connected, this started happening after the latest update. But if I disable the vpn and restart I have no issues.

My second lit box is still on the previous update and works just fine with the app.
 
I see the update is available, but I think I'll skip it. Also will skip the Android 9 update if it ever comes out.

Can't say I have seen this at all on the LIT using wired connection. Sometimes the VPN on the LIT using wifi is disconnected.

The launcher does not influence the actual system so Netflix and DSTV Now still work like normal. No issues encountered
