Telkom mobile Internet down

Numerous Telkom users have reported they could not access the Internet using the operator's mobile network on Tuesday morning.

Several MyBroadband forum members complained of issues on Telkom mobile from about 08:22.

One stated they used seven Telkom SIMs on Axxess packages in different locations and none were working.

Internet APN seems to be the problem.
Unrestricted APN working fine here.

Yep. 2 businesses running on Telkom business LTE - down. 3 x cellphones on Telkom Mobile - down. Just the internet though. Normal calls seem fine though. Using Vodacom backup sims at the businesses for now, and the Telkom VOIP phones are working fine, strangely enough.

Seems to be mainly a DNS issue. Changed my DNS and most (but not all) problems were resolved. Things are really flying now with everyone off the network.

I have issues accessing the dns on b618...

I have tried the console thing but cannot "show" primary/secondary dns..

I set this on a TP-Link Archer, but unfortunately have no idea of how it would be done on the the B618 (if it can be done).

I have been using Telkom Monice data for years now. I have been unable to use Telkom data for more than a month now. It always shows roaming on my phone now. I will be porting my number away from Telkom soon.
