I know this question is on a lot of peoples' minds. We see these ultra high LTE speed tests and the latency is good. Does this really translate to gaming though?
I know the yellow SP are blocking incoming ports and users have reported being unable to play PS4 games. It seems for now that Telkom Mobile is the only viable gaming LTE service.
I personally don't play a lot of games anymore but did have a 12 hour marathon Diablo III Reaper of Souls session yesterday. Overall I was happy with our LAN session. Generally the ping hovered around 240ms with an occasional dip to 700ms odd. The higher latency could easily be attributed to the battle.net servers which are known to be oft overloaded.
Please post all pings here for all online games you play.
