I haven't seen any speed test that shows that Telkom has actually LTE-A anywhere.

New result with antenna, A-Xpol-0002 V2



Just mounted antenna on to pole, and swing it into direction of tower.
Those are above results. not much alignment done.
I'm into the 80Mbps, wow.

In Wilro Park/Helderkruin (literally on the border between these suburbs - but I think 70% of my house is in Wilro Park ;P). On the Telkom 10+10GB deal because they aren't offering the SmartMobile promo here yet (Clearly my coverage is good enough for it though ... :/)
Using paddle antennas. My B593-601 did not come with paddle antennas though, so I'm using a pair that I ordered some from Aliexpress. Made a noticable difference to the internal one for sure.
Stats: 5/5 bars (sometimes drops to 3 or 4 bars but no big deal)

1 PLMN: 65502
2 Service status: Valid service
3 RSSI (dBm): -51
4 RSRP (dBm): -76
5 RSRQ (dB): -6
6 Roaming: No

Very pleased with the infrastructure/speeds. Hopefully my area sees some more cost-effective bandwidth deals now
