Telkom installed my B593 couple days ago via a field marketing campaign, in a home-office situation, no external antenna, sits on my desk. Upgraded from 10Mbps ADSL (fixed at best possible 6Mbps). Area is Horizon, Roodepoort, don't ask tech details, I know nothing.

PS: I get 4 bars

PS1: Reason for LTE: West Rand has old Telkom network stuff, probably corroding from age and no fibre, VDSL nor LTE-A is coming out our way to rescue us anytime soon, they're all off chasing the bucks in the affluent suburbs.
