I have a sneaky suspicion that Telkom will soon be launching its own mobile network??
Any one else heard anything about this and can shed some light on this??

Can't give out too many info but the answer is yes.

Suspect they may take a large share in Cell C!

Telkom has the network and infrastructure to go it alone, they not need cel C. It should also prevent a scenario of them inheriting Cel C's entry level Data network and allow them to buy faster more up to date and relavant equipment.

Rates

Ideal would be for Telkom to match Neotel on their voices services rates (not a big deal) and slash the mobile data rates of Cell giants (big deal!)

We can dream for sure!!!!

They are progressing a hell of alot faster then Neohell.
I see in the southern suburbs, areas like Wynberg and Bergvliet are in a huge coverage blanket.
Seems i wont have to wait long before it tipples into Diep River.
The 3 gig bundle pricing verses vodascum and empty-N is R100 cheaper.
