Telkom slow streaming issues on Netflix - Cape Town Tableview

I'm on the Telkom 4mbps line which was recently upgraded "for free" to 10mbps. Speedtest tonight achieving around 8mbps which is great.
I watch Netflix thru Overplay.net SmartDNS service. I never had any issues in the past except the past 2-3 days where Netflix has slowed down to a snails pace. Did speedtest and no issues...
Anyone else have the same problem lately with Telkom steaming speeds?

What are your international speedtests like? Or was the one that reported no issues already international?

The past few days my Telkom acct. (running from Durbanville/Aurora) has been incredibly slow. Local speed test indicates that all is fine there (4.8mbits) but a speed to New York has me peaking at 0.7mbits. That doesn't seem correct (well, duh). I suspect there's some congestion occurring on international links somewhere.
