Telkom soft-capping everyone now?????

It wasn't about how bad I have it, it was about it being utter nonsense considering I'm on a 4MBps uncapped line that usually gets 2.6-3.4MBps on speedtests and now I'm bloody soft-capped which is completely bogus.

And that someone on here needs to help me fix it or give me a time-frame for when normal service will resume (if you say 1st of the next month I'm gonna shoot you)... where's Telkom's equivalent of Vodacom's Ockie at?

Or just create a new thread in that section of the forum as the issue is ISP related & not ADSL related.

And I'm back in business at 3.5MBps after the reboot this time around (try number 65 since Thursday finally successful). I guess this can be locked now MickeyD.

Nope, I think the problem is still valid and requires a reply from somebody linked to Telkom. I will move it to the ISP section.

Ranger actually...but it was before he did anything as far as I know. Seems that somewhere between this reboot and the previous one the issue had vanished.

Something must be wrong somewhere. I've had a slow month (116GB on 2Mb/s line) & my usage bar is only in the middle.

All these Windows updates, Mortal Kombat X and StarCraft 2 installs...
My line got shaped just before I could see the benefit of upgrading it to a 4 meg line...

Also, you mention that you are not shaped and yet you downloaded more than 220 gigs for the month, What gives?
