TelkomZA, in my case. But they're busy working on this particular exchange, still.

TelkomZA told me that my UMC can't handle 10 Mbps. I have been put on a 10 Mbps profile by Telkom Internet though.

According to the call centre it's not.

It's the same price at the moment, but from next month it's R299 for 4mbps and R425 for 10mbps.

I have had no ADSL sync since yesterday morning around 6:00. Very long weekend thus far. Telkom better be replacing the whole DSLAM as part of the upgrade if it takes this long to restore my service.

So I called Telkom now, and asked for a port reset. The guy asked me if I'm experiencing any connection issues and I just told him that I see on the ADSL checker that it says I'm on 4meg now. He changed it for me from 2meg to 4 meg for free.

Which number did you phone? See mine is also stuck on 2Mbps but 4Mbps on checker

I just did. Syncing at 4096.... This is great!!! Just need to upgrade the uncapped tomorrow.
