You will need to wait, i just called regarding the same thing, calling them won't put you on the new profile or do a port reset, they where advise from this morning it's messing up the lines and we will need to wait for the technicians doing it at the exchange themselfs.

They are apparently going area by area doing this themself switching people over to the new profile untill end of November, you can't call them doing this since this morning anymore, as they where advise not to-do it anymore because it's messing up the lines, so guess whe where just too late.
 
Saw that I was on 4mb on the adsl checker as well this morning. Gave them a call (was on hold for a long time), and told them that I could see on the adsl checker that I was on the 4mb but syncing at 2mb.
He told me that he would check and 3 minutes later my account was syncing at 4mb :D

Don't ask for a port reset. Just tell them that the adsl checker says you are at the new package but you aren't synced at the new speeds and ask them if they could assist you.

Hi guys. my adsl was on 2meg, got the upgrade this morning its now syncing at 4meg. I am using Telkom internet as my ISP, I have a 2meg uncapped account. When will the internet account be upgraded to 4meg or has it already be done. I understand they are upgrading the internet accounts for free as well.

seems like you got lucky, or that guy just broke the rules or did not read his e-mail.
 
I am also showing 4Mb on the ADSL checker but my router still syncs at 2Mb :(

i only gotten my 4mbps data account this morning

4h to wait b4 i can put it to the test :(
 
Been upgraded to 4mb, requested a dummy account because last time I had a 4mb line it only synched at 2.5, in which case I might as well just have a 2mb line

nope , i had to phone them to get my line to 4mbps

the checker showd 4 but router 2

phoned them to fix it,after that is fixed

i got hold of openweb and asked them to upgrade my account

and i am in the worcester aria

Oh, that answers that, your Account upgrade is with OW, not TI, TI is refusing to do anymore upgrades, and saying we must wait for the Techs to do it at the exchange.
 
Hi , what does this mean , looking at data rate it was originally 4096
then last week 5024 or somewhere there , and now 4157 ( downstream )
