Telkom Telkom Telkom hell

I just fell off my chair.... Telkom has a rep??? Say what....

Nothing will help anyways.... Rep or no rep, I still have ZERO faith in Telkom, they have themselves to blame for tarnishing their own image...

I have been complaining about their shoddy ADSL network on Facebook and nothing has been done, i was promised and promised and promised you get the picture.....

You can have 1000 reps, until the network guys get off their fat useless lazy asses and do their job nothing will change.....

Just to let you know that Telkom rep is still around and following up.

Yep, I got a reply too. Although, despite all the info in the Grahamstown thread, they wanted my telephone number in order to investigate. What I really would have liked is some feedback on a known issue and what they are doing about it. Telkom can't pretend that they are unaware of the crippling packet loss faced by all ADSL users in Grahamastown. Or can they?

Packet loss? Whats that? can't be, Telkom never invented it so therefore it does not exist.....

let me recreate your port for you sir and everything will be fine....

Must say having moved from Mweb to Telkom Internet end May I am pretty happy (and sure they have thousands of happy customers). But to be fair it did take a few trips from a technician to get my line worry free (replaced everything from the pole into the house). And about every 2 monts I have to reset the port (but a quick phonecall does that).

It does run 24/7 and is pretty solid and reliable for me (mikrotik to PPPoE via D-link U2500). But your milage may vary...
