Telkom tops HelloPeter bad service chart

I have spent hours on the phone with a telecommunication company listening to their Cheezy music.
The thing I hate even more than this is when they interrupt the music with company ads and details AND then change the song to a new track that is interrupted after 10 seconds.
 
Been waiting for a Telkom ADSL line for 2 yrs now...when I phone to ask an update they move the finalised date further by 3 months...I'd phone and ask when, they would say January 16th...I would phone and ask again end of Jan they would respond "by April" .... but what they don't specify is the year...so could be April 2015. :(
 
Just because these companies don't respond to complaints on Hellopeter, it doesn't mean that there customer service is the worst in the country.
I have had 10 times worse customer service from Vodacom and MTN than Telkom over the last couple of years.
 
Telkom is pretty bad. Yesterday I tried to cancel my business telephone line. I had to stay on hold for 120 minutes (actually made note of the time it took) in 30 min increments each time. The first time the consultant neglected to inform me that I need to include my ID number etc. in the cancellation fax. The second time was to confirm that the fax was received only to be informed that the information is incomplete. The 3rd time was to check on the 2nd fax only to be informed that they can't check if it's been received.

I'll have to phone back on Monday and see if anything is actually happening. Terrible service.
