On the page https://secure.telkom.co.za/today/campaign/consumer-ip-voice/, Telkom offers "You need a broadband connection – Either Mobile (LTE) or Fixed (DSL, Fibre)."
I tried to get VOIP on my LTE data contract now, but the people in the store said they don't know how to set it up, I should call thet Call Centre. Call Centre said it is only on fibre, not LTE, but they cannot explain the sentence on the web page above. Even the person that replied to my e-mail claims it is not for LTE.
Anybody that managed to get VOIP on a LTE contract?

What do you mean by VOIP on an LTE Contract, do you mean having an LTE modem with an old school phone connected to the phone jack?

I believe that isn't VOIP but VOLTE that they activate on the sim card.

Yes, either a Huawei LTE router with a Linksys PAP VOIP server or a Huawei LTE router with a phone jack. In either case, an old analog phone used as handset. Eventually, I would like to use a Samsun cell phone as a mobile handset, but that is another battle. The people at Telkom does not seem to understand the term VOLTE - they get a blank expression on their face when you mention it. They do know about a VOIP service, but only connectedd to fibre/ADSL.
I would prefer the option with the Linksys server, but in both cases I first need a VOIP account on LTE subscription. According to the Telkom page referred to in my original post, this should be free for an existing Telkom account holder.
