I would not put it past them. BUT that is not the point at all.
It is Tlekom's fault that telecoms in this country are behind countries like Ethiopia and Mali.
It is Tlekom's fault that the prices are so high.
It is Tlekom's fault that the speeds are so slow.
It is Tlekom's fault that the caps are so low.
The introduction of competition was supposed to reduce prices, increase speeds and improve service. The problem is that the fixed line competition do not want to compete...
What about mobile broadband? They are also competition that have no reliance on Telkom. Why are their prices so high? I suppose that's telkom's fault as well?
Questions - really just out of interest - Telecoms are behind ethiopa and mali in what way? Have you lived there? Have you ever been a telecoms customer in these countries?
Anyway, you still haven't answered my previous question about an ISP that will offer you more for your rand?
