TelkomInternet "Uncapped" Glitch?

lol well anyone know when this will be sorted or will it still carry on past the end of the month so I know if I can take a telkom account for the month like a 2gb and just download the crap out of it. cos I got a prepaid account yesterday and not sure if I can push that account.
 
i am currently on blended, bought a few gigs of topup during the month. I assume that still applies. but i am wary of the huge bill issue!
 
How many times must people explain that Telkom can only bill you for local as it is their responsibility to cap you on blended.

It's not like this is the first time people have slipped through their capping and haven't gotten charged.
 
Just got home and my brother told me that he received a call from telkom. According to the guy there is a second port open on the line so he wants to know if the internet is fine and if he should close the port, but my brother told them to call back when I'm at home because he doesnt understand those things. He's reply was there is no need to call back. Could this 2nd port be the free net port?

Doh, someone was complaining in another thread, accidentally double posted.

But yeah, it's over. Makes sense that no one is actually at work at SAIX over the weekend so they will only fix it today.
 
I'm happy I got about 10GBs :) This is the first time Telkom has ever given me something for free!
 
My connection died 50minutes ago it seems, no more international. Telkom sponsored (8.9GB - 1.5GB) 7.4GB of international usage for me this month - how nice of them. My counters show I have used 10MB of local in the past 50 minutes, but according to telkom I have used 0MB of local so far:

damn..i just bought a spare gig now just for browsing and so my mom doesnt shoot me but i was planning on leaving the pc overnight doing some torrents but i guess i missed out.

anyways hope all the biggest moaners got all the p0rn they wanted and can now do what they do best :) i still cannot justify how some ppl are doing over 50 gigs? if its not business related explain thank you
