Temp inside a fridge

Whats wrong with your inverter.

I have a frost free fridge. Biggest mistake in South Africa. You want a fridge that has enough ice build up to replace Mount Everest.

MSW + fridge I mean freezer's compressor don't like each other :p
I am in process of getting a PSW just for the fridge... donno when that will happen.

And sadly yes its one of those crappy Frost-free, self cleaning Defey's

That's the thing if you don't open the door takes 8-10 hours. Mrs did open it this morning before we left so don't know 100%.

Today might not such a big issue but this is also not the 1st time, been having it more and more last month we even had 3 days of no power. So I am planning to prevent a problem ;)

Not to worry got my solution. Will just use my TM308 as mentioned above.
New fridges tend to have the warning system built in now for fridge and freezer extended outages but fair

Storage of your temp workers in a fridge is frowned upon in most societies.

Yep, you set it to your desired temp and when it gets there it screams like a banshee from hell.

Donno for how long it will scream though, never tested that part.

Thanks. Sold. I was looking for something that could warn me when/if my freezer fails...

This seems like a good alternative to an IoT solution for now. Obviously this won't help when I'm not at home.

That is why I bought another TH16

R100 more and I can see it remotely

Yeah those have a heating element and fan to pull moisture out (wasting power). The standing types also loses cold air quickly when you open the door.

An old school box freezer type seems to be the best option for prolonged outages.

I'll look at that option later but I rely on 4g for internet connectivity. Some times it is not reliable when the power is out for a long time.

I'm guessing you'll have the same problem when your mini ups for your fibre runs out of power...
