Many of these gadgets are simply unbranded OEM items which companies import and brand with their own logo and sell it for 300% more.

It's not necessarily poor quality. Think about those Mecer and KoolEnergy inverter trolleys. They're all some OEM brand from the Phillipines, but one is branded Mecer and nothing in there is made by Mecer
