Tried this, now Netflix is displaying error code ui-103. Internet suggests checking the time setting (if you have a PS3), but it does not work on the Roku3. Hulu etc works. Any suggestions how to get it working? Works fine on my laptop though????
 
Put the DNS address in and it works on my Roku and PC. Will test it for a few days and then also donate if it works OK. Thanks so far.:D

Any plans for a secondary?
 
@jsheed, currently getting nw-8-17 for Netflix and google is letting me believe its a DNS error.
 
Thank you for the DNS :) I've been using it for the past 3 weeks and have been enjoying my Netflix (only used it in my browser) :D Also donated some money, and will continue to as long as the service works for me - to help the cause ;)

As other people have asked, any chance that you will add Spotify to your list? It's a hassle having to open my Tunnel Bear every little while to get it to work.

I just need to get some leave then i'll be adding support for a few more things like:

Netflix UK
Spotify

and some others! Time is just in short supply for me at this point in time unfortunately.

Anyone here experiencing issues with Hulu? I can get in and browse around, but it will not load and play anything. Netflix works fine though.
 
I have the opposite issue. Netflix browses, stuck on the spinning circle when trying to open a show.

Also, the Netflix program on my cell has eventually stopped working since it now detects that I am from ZA. Which is the version I should downgrade to again?
 
Works fine with my Roku 2 and NETGEAR R6300 router - Netflix

Having some problems with Netflix it works but it has to buffer every 10 min or so. Web Africa 4Mbps uncapped. anybody else having problems?

That's got nothing to do with my proxy. The only thing you use my proxy for is initial authentication (e.g. login) after that its all direct from your connection to Netflix etc.

I've been noticing bad buffering issues in Afrihost but that's related to bad packet loss I'm seeing on my line.
 
Confirmed last night. Hulu does not work on a Roku3 using this. Been running the test for weeks now and cannot get Hulu to work. At the same time Hulu works on my laptop with this setup, but not on any of my Rokus. Been in contact with Hulu and Roku wrt the issue and they could not help. Last night I switched back to Unotelly and Hulu worked.

Any idea why there is an issue with Hulu on a Roku?

Roku users where Hulu doesn't work - please give me software version numbers.

I need:

a) Your Roku's model / firmware version
b) Your Hulu channel's version

I can then take a look.

I asked my wife to look as I'm at work at the moment. Hopefully this is the correct details:
a) Model - 4200X
Firmware (which she says is called software version): Software version - version 5.6, build 60

b) Don't know where to get this, but some quick Googling tells me that the device will always update to the latest version automatically
