I've been complaining about my slow speeds forever, speed test max i could get was 500kbs/50KB/s on 4Mb line however with multiple threads i could max out my line? wtf? anyways youtube was out of the question since there is no multi threading....


So my line goes down last week...phone telkom....hold the line for 2 minutes....? wow...
"Sir there is a card problem at your exhchange.....5 days...."
Next day i get home my line is up and running again!! WOW...speed test....yip....3.5Mb/s

So they did not upgrade you to 10Mbps while they were at the exchange....

If your exchange does not have Metro Ethernet equipment connecting the DSLAM to the network 10Mbps is out of the question. Also the upgrade is not done at the exchange on your line it is a software configuration done in the office.
