The 2017 Weightloss Thread

Totally forgot to come post here, the last month or so has anyway been very bad in terms of healthy eating etc, lots of stress, working away from home, junk food, beer etc.
I luckally haven't gained anything, I'm still on a slow but steady weight losing path, it could have been faster if it wasn't for the last month though.

This morning 129.7 kg, started the year on 136.7, so basically 7 kg in 3 months.

Don't know what my last checkin was.

103.6 this morning

its been a while since i started my original thread.

started on 133.4 end of january.

since feb i have left sugar, carbs and take aways completely and only drink plenty of water, also taking the dog for a walk everyday around the block

on 122.8 now and going strong. and to be honest if your partner is just as commited to the cause as you the it helps a lot my wife makes me wonderful alternatives and awesome treats, xylotol is an awesome sugar substitute.

anyways, carbs are really not that appealing to me anymore and to be honest they make me feel sick now if i have too many.

hoping to reach my goal of 90 by next feb :)

Back at 94.5kg :)

Been staying away from them chocolates over Easter and this week got back to training.

As soon as I stop going away camping, things will be much better.... I promise.... no really. Haven't gotten on a scale for a long long time... too afraid tbh.

130.3 this morning. This 130 mark has been haunting me for a while now, can't seam to consistently get under it and stay there.

So after a disastrous April... I have started full steam and stricter than ever today... weighing in at 111.5 my heaviest of the year

Let's do this boys!

Meh, easter set me back big time.

Back up to 105.something.

Gooi a brother on.

Male: 34
Height: 1.80m
Starting Weight: 152kg
Goal Weight: 95Kg
Diet: LCHF/Keto
Starting Date: 4th May 2017

Good luck.
If I may, a tip or 2 from someone who weighed 149 kg this time last year and now on 130.
1. Having a goal weight is cool, but don't just have the 95 kg goal in your head all the time, you need some smaller goals in between which you can easily reach and work towards. First goal 145 within a month, second goal 140 within a further 2 months etc etc.
For example my next goal is 125 kg and being able to stay below that consistently by end of June.
2. Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint, there's no way you can sustainably lose and keep off all that weight in a few months or a year while still remaining healthy and enjoying yourself.
3. Monitoring and keeping track over time is important, you'll be amazed how much you lose over time though it doesn't always feel or look like it.
Just the other day someone was surprised when I showed them that I actually lost around 7 kg since the beginning of this year. Through all the starting and stopping with a strict plan, off weekends in between, falling off the bus in between it doesn't feel like I lost much and certainly doesn't look that way, but in my book 7 kg in 4 months is pretty decent.

70.6kg - not losing any weight but feeling quite fit, training regularly at gym or jogging at least four times a week.
