The 2019 Weight Loss Thread

88.5 - really surprised considering what I ate last week, working from home for 4 days so can focus a little better.

- Age: 33

- Height: 1.74
- Method of Weightloss: Running, cycling and diet
- Highest Weight Ever: 97
- Weight at sign-up: 92

Weighed this morning and I am sitting at 89.7... Working out is easy, not stuffing my face afterwards is the hard part.

99KG.

TBF though, I haven't touched my eating habits. Getting into a running gymming habit before I change anything there as well. Trying to make sustainable changes, but the impatient part of me says do it all at once. :(

Just bear in mind that for weight loss, 80% is diet.

I think a lot of guys in particular (myself included) have the experience when they are in their teens or early 20's that they can eat pretty much anything so long as you exercise. By the time I was in my thirties, I found this was very much no longer the case and that diet is far more effective for weight loss.

With the right diet (for me that was Paleo) you can comfortably drop 1 to 2 Kg per week, especially if you incorporate exercise as well. Good to include strength training as well as cardio (weights or bodyweight exercises.)
