The 2019 Weight Loss Thread

I know it’s not an official but checked my weight this morning. Only 200 grams down.

I think progress starting to stagnate. Doing intermittent fasting but don’t think I’m consuming enough calories in my eating window. Concerned I may have broken my metabolism. Any advice or tips?

Can't speak specifically for IF but periods of plateau are quite normal in weight loss. Suggest you measure yourself as well as weighing as it's likely you're still shrinking even though the weight is stable.

What are your current calories?
Do u feel full when eating?

Weigh in at work today
Monday 114.9kg
Friday 113.6kg

Happy with the loss considering I only exercised twice this week

Monday 936
Tuesday 985
Wednesday 746
Thursday 359
Friday 0 (doing 36 hour intermittent fast)

Yes I fee full when eating
Looking at your current weight, those calories (imo) don't look like they're enough. When you're intermittent fasting there is no need to deliberately reduce your calories. There will come a point when appetite correction kicks in and you'll find yourself eating less without actually thinking about it.

If you're not eating enough to cover your base metabolism, that metabolism is going to slow right down...

Nope, you'll start burning your fat stores to cover your base metabolism needs.
You saying starvation mode is a myth? (I'm a bit behind on modern research on this)

Yup, lots of links on Google. I've done 48 hour fasts with no change in my energy levels. One of the biggest lies we've been fed is that breakfast is the most important meal and you need to eat in the mornings to kickstart your metabolism.
