Low carbs works yes but it is not easy by any means. You basically cutting out potatoes, flour, bread, pasta etc. You need to have the willpower of a buddhist monk to maintain that.
Its absolutely **** but it works.

Try adding a pinch of Himalayan pink salt to your coffee. Removes the bitterness. No dairy or sweeteners allowed while fasting from what I've read and I just cannot do black coffee. Unsweetened green tea it is!

Or plain old normal salt. That himalayan pink **** is just snake oil.Try adding a pinch of Himalayan pink salt to your coffee. Removes the bitterness.

It's possible. When I first started IF 'ing I was religious about having my water with Apple cider vinegar and pink salt as some people recommended. Now that I've been doing it almost a year, I don't bother and my fasting is still going well.Or plain old normal salt. That himalayan pink **** is just snake oil.
Should've said Low carb is brilliant as a short term plan but very difficult to sustain for longer than I'd say 3-4 months.
You need at least a year to realise your goals.
That's exactly it.There's carbs in every nook and cranny, becoming more difficult to sustain LC over a long period, with over 80% of what you're faced with in the store laced with sugar or/and flour.I kept it going for 6 months, then I moved house into a place where carbs were everywhere. It's 100% sustainable long term as long as you have the willpower and a tiny amount of control over your environment/shopping.
Personally I aim for 1 kg per week since I believe that’s the most sustainable for me. I know a lot of people think 1 kg per week is too slow though.
IF is the only diet that actually works and the easiest to adopt as a lifestyle change.
Yep.....on nearly 4th year ( started March 2015 )
I have known people lose weight successfully using many different methods depending upon what suits them. My wife has been quite successful over the years with a purely 'mindful eating' approach, even though much of what she eats is not healthy in my terms.
I also use IF in conjunction with Paleo, effectively 16:8 because I don't usually have breakfast. I don't know that personally I would like to rely on IF alone but I think it is certainly a good compliment to a diet such as Paleo or Banting
OH man.. Care to share the recipe? I love rich things and brownies are an all time fave/cheat for me.I do keto. All keto is , is a heavy restriction of net carbs <25g. How you get there is your baby but my meals pivot around meat, fat and lots of green, low carb veg.
*edit* and I got a killer wife who can do mad keto/low carb desserts, her brownies are to die for though very very rich.

Heighest 88Kg
Current 88Kg
Goal 70 - 75Kg
For the last three years I haven't exercised as much as I used to and regularly lunch on panini sandwiches and fried chips.
Started last week by eating fruit salads or chicken salad for lunch and started forcing myself to eat breakfast.
I also started to do my at home exercises.
I recommend anyone who does not want to go to a gym and want to exercise at home to search for fitness 4 x 4 the hour of power.
All you need are some weights - not heavy ones. I used to do the full class daily with a set of 5kg weights. Now down to 3 kg as I haven't in a while.
It is a full body exercise routine and can be quite intense, but you can tackle it at an intensity that fits you.
The results will speak for themselves.
Highly recommend giving it a try.
You will have to order the dvd from their website as I have never seen it available locally or really heard anyone else speak of it, really.
Same as castle lightBTW the people that want to have beer, go have it. Just find either a stellenbrau or a Soweto gold. Both claim to be less than 1gram carb per 100ml.
