Are you natural at that weight?
I train(ed) 6 times a week weights, jiu jitsu 3 times a week, boxing / sparring 3 times a week
Not natural and I simply cannot go over 93 or 94Kg unless I go to scary levels of gear. At that weight I just cannot seem to get below 15% BF. I cant imagine me being over 100KG, you must look terrifying.....and find difficulty shopping. When I hit the 90's its a problem to find clothing

I work around at the 13-14% bf fairly easily when I am a 85Kg, can drop to 12 with some effort, below 12 is pure hell for me. Might just have genetics that dont like being too heavy
I struggled to get over 100kg but as my metabolism starts slowing down I can see it’s easy for me to top 100kg
I also used to over train and I realise the less I train the heavier I get. Over training is really a thing. The more I train the more ripped I become and the harder it gets for me to get heavier.
If you want break your plateau you will need to focus on the big movements. Deadlift, squat and pull-up.

Also being at 15% is a very good place to be. My problem is that I like food. I want to be healthy but still eat what I want. I train because it helps me cope with work, and also because I consume large amounts of calories. Also like I said, intermittent fasting also helps me with keeping around 100kg.

I don’t cycle at the moment but I have obviously been on many.
If I cycle I don’t go over 105kg.
I don’t take massive amounts of gear. Max 400mg per week split over Monday and Thursday and only test cyp as I feel very balanced on that.
Obviously proper PCT when I come off but even then I don’t lose to much actual weight.

Shopping, don’t even start. If I want a suit I get it tailored. My waist is 36 but yes shopping for clothes is or can be a pain.

Have you tried using casein before? That is my secret weapon to keeping and increasing weight if I feel I want to pickup a few kg.

So like I said, I’ll be doing a lot more Cardio related exercises which bulk of it will be Muay Thai as I’ll be spending the next month in Bangkok.
I also don’t drink alcohol so no need to worry about that empty calories.
How is your appetite? Do you consume enough calories if you want to gain? Not that I think you want to but I can eat loads of food throughout the day if I don’t focus

I dont want to gain anymore, I dont feel great at weights above 92Kg and things start to hurt when I do cardio based exercise. I just had back surgery so lower weight I think is on the cards for me for the future.

I never had appetite issues in the past, I eat a lot but there was such diminished returns for me when I wanted to be massive. SO much extra food, extra time wasted on the damn toilet (almost no one talks about that), extra gear, it just isnt worth it for me anymore.

Glad im not the only one suffering with clothing. My waist is a 32 at the moment, can drop to 30. To find clothes that fit my shoulders and dont look dumb or pants that go over my legs that dont look oversized past that is a proper challenge, especially when I was bigger.

For sure. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea and as long as you feel healthy that’s all that matters.

Haha yes for sure. I do 2 x big number two’s a day and also drink a lot of water. Much more than the average person.

But let’s see when I come back to SA what my numbers will look like.
I am sure I’ll drop some water and drop around 3kgs but I’ll definitely be very active that side.

But one tip which makes you feel fuller, especially in the mornings is drinking casein. I cannot stress that enough
I hated feeling “flat” in the mornings when I woke up. Now I don’t feel like that anymore. Casein makes me feel as if I just had a nice piece of meat when I wake up.
Try it, don’t try it. Just a tip.

95kg today. Need to reduce to 85kg at least. "Ideal" weight is 80kg as per bmi chart.
Go for it masekind!

I'll hold myself accountable as well here...

Started at 138kg in Aug 2020. I'm now at 91kg. Goal weight is also 80kg.

Making steady but slower progress now. So keep at it and I'll see you at the end.

That is exceptionally good progress, to lose the weight and keep it down 2 years later is hard
How tall are you?

Thank you I appreciate that. My wife died in that month and I promised her I'd live the best life possible before she left, so that gave and gives me all the determination to keep that promise. So I have a very strong... "why" if that makes sense. 10% calorie deficit for six months and then two months maintenance so I don't lose my mind is what I did and still do.

I'm 182cm so my BMI target is 82.8kg but I'd like to go a bit lower for cycling and running performance/speed/injury prevention.

And I think I'd look really great at that 20% to 15% body fat percentage range.

Here is my progress over the last two years, just consistent and steady over time. You can see the maintenance periods clearly. And sorry correction.... it was 128kg not 138kg, that was a typo. But still I know it is an achievement.

Really sorry man, thats indescribably tough!
Thats about as good and healthy as a weight loss graph can go. Interesting as you mention 10% caloric deficit, and the weight loss is almost perfectly lined up with that in the beginning.
Probably helped you maintain muscle mass as well.

Cant imagine how much healthier you feel! congrats again, very impressive effort

Managed to lose 10kg - Sep to mid Dec but some holiday indulgence of 2kg has me now on 100kg at 6.2.

Still carrying too much cargo, as I'm struggling on the hills and it's those sessions where I'm reminded to most to at least go below 90.

And it's true, exercise has little to no impact on weight especially if you're over 45. This is where most guys get the trademark "boep."

Intermittent fasting is currently where it's at and that's where you see the most benefits.

Key is to train the mind to be content with the idea of not eating for longer than you've been accustomed to. Takes time and discipline.

Yeah man it is huge and has had incredibly good consequences in my life. Allowed me to pursue some truly hot women and I've now ended up with an ex model so... :) good times!! My lifestyle is also so lekka can just do all the things I love do like running, cycling, squash, hiking, pomping hehe while still keeping up a fun social life.

I include dop and kak food in the at 10% calculation. My goal is to live the actual life I'm working for in future.. now! That is what makes it sustainable for me.

And in terms of muscle mass I have lost a lot but at a much slower rate than fat. And that is good. I hit my protein goals every day. I had a huge excess of both muscle and fat. I can still lost more to be optimum for my goals. I've got a big frame and carry lots of muscle and it is very easy for me to build it. My friend once said I look like a carnival strongman from the 1930's haha.

Decided to hit the gym hard this year not mess around get a program and actually do weights (5 years in gym - zero weight section till now - regret not starting sooner!)

I wanna be overall healthier, stronger, fitter

Couldnt help myself.

Not touching diet as I have a healthy non restrictive diet already and I believe in everything in moderation.

As a adult man I only got 56kg weight. That really bothers me. People always ask me, are you above 50kg?
really awkward.
