Last month was 98.6kg. Im not really tracking weight anymore as the increase in muscle mass is messing with that and this is a number at the end of the day.

What have I achieved in the last six months?

100 gym visits. 74 000 calories burnt, 138 hours worth of exercise. 1 session missed. About 10kgs down (not to phased about numbers anymore). 3 Belt loops down. Avg resting HR from 75 to 55. More flexible than I have ever been can easily touch my toes now :) Fittest, healthiest, strongest, most confident I have ever felt.

This is now a lifestyle and will continue.

Minimum 4 gym sessions a week plus pilates on a monday.

Floating around 98/99kg as I said not to phased about the weight. Can def see the muscles "bulking" up so all good.

Will slightly increase the intensity in the next few months to come this month was a deload week month.

Healthier, fitter and more confident than I have ever been in my life!

Well worth the effort so im def gonna keep it up. Nice seeing the sun rise earlier from the gym!

Start: 106.5 kg (January)
End Jan: 101.6 kg (-4.9 kg)
End Feb: 96.1 kg (-5.5 kg)
End March: 94.2 kg (-1.9 kg)
End April: 92.9 kg (-1.3 kg)
End May: 89.1 kg (-3.8 kg)
End June: 86.2 kg (-2.9 kg)
End July: 84.3 kg (-1.9 kg)

I'm cheating slightly here. On the last day of the month my weight spiked up again to 85.4 kg, but the day before I was at my lowest yet with 84.3 kg so I'm using that as my month end weight.
Nice

Diet and/or exercise?

Nice

Diet and/or exercise?
Only real difference I made to my diet was cutting out potato chips and snacks (used to easily chow 3 x bags of Doritos over weekends). Basically still eat what I used to, but my diet wasn't too bad to start with.

Exercise is where I made big changes. I went from doing basically nothing to consistently trying tot get at least 30 mins in on an exercise bike daily. I've also started to up my daily steps to around 5000 - 6000 daily by taking hourly breaks and just going for a short walk round the premises.

This seems to have made a huge difference for me and weight still keeps dropping. I'm healthier than I've ever been and it's so worth it.

Did less exercise this month due to some injuries, so less of a loss. I also think I'm starting to reach a plateau where I'm going to see very little loss unless I cut down on my diet or exercise more.

These are some incredibly inspiring results.
Consistent even through winter, which is not easy

This was a pretty bad month exercise wise. Had to sit a couple of weeks out due to injuries and I most probably had a bout of COVID during last week, so forced to take things easy until I fully recover again.

OK I'm back on track. Went off the rails due to bad habits and boredom.

Have been clean low carbing for just over 2 weeks now, and zwifting 4 times a week on a beginner get fit workout program.

No idea where I was when I restarted... Last saturday morning 125kg.
This morning 123.

Feeling positive...

I've also been enrolled in some nhs program which hopefully will help me with the habits and cravings from a psychological point of view.

It is just psychological? I know they were rolling out testing for semaglutide / ozempic , wondering if thats included

AFAIK you need to be in one of these programmes first.
There were various options to select (focused on nutrition or exercise) so I selected the psychological one as I know how to eat and work out, I just battle to stay committed and avoid the binge/boredom eating ).
I'll definitely be pursuing wegovy though, I figure at least now I'm in the system.

Don't do ozempic unless you are willing to commit to a change in lifestyle. If this is the case then just do the change in lifestyle and get it done with. Screw ozempic.

Right.
Got down to 122kg just after this post, and then my body went into the "omg no i worked hard for these fat cells you're not taking them away" mode it does sometimes.
Weight went right up to 124 or thereabouts - didn't record it, just closed my eyes and gritted my teeth and carried on through it.

This morning, 121.9, so plateau broken I hope!

Those jumps in weight are normally just due to water retention caused by burning of fat cells and the byproducts of that process. I've experienced the same flactuations only for weight to drop to new, lower levels shortly afterward. Consistency is key. Don't be discouraged by upward spikes.

Finally under the 80 kg mark.

Yup, I know. They suck though!

I'm on another upward spike at the moment but my wife commented on how my body shape is changing last night, so I know I'm still making progress.

Pretty sure the strength based workouts on the bike are doing things to my leg size too.

Gah, this is frustrating!

I'm just bouncing off 121.3 still.... Maybe this week is the week I'll break this plateau...

All you health nuts are going to feel stupid lying in the hospital one day... dying of nothing...
Death is the number one killer today.
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

Correct. The objective is to die young as late as possible.

This comment wont age well, unlike the ones looking after their health....
