Starting weight (Jan): 108.2Kg
End Jan: 104.3 Kg
3 March: 100.6 Kg
Total weight loss since Jan: 7.6kg

Got a "fancy" new Beurer BF 195 diagnostic scale so I can keep track of body fat % too.

The borrowed Safeway scale I was using is measuring 1.2 - 1.4 kg higher than the Beurer one. Weightd 3 times and both stick to their guns. But the weirdest thing is that if you use a 5L container of water both measure it as 5kg! Which doesn't make any sense to me.

Since I'm going to be using the Beurer going forward I guess my new official weight is 94.5 kg (29.8% BF). [Old one showed 95.7]

So there is this thinking that 90 days is what it takes to see some really significant results.

So what have I been up to the last three months. Here are my workout sessions for the last three months. Where there is a higher numerator than denominator optional conditioning days were added to my workouts. Note I have not touched diet. As said before I come from a running/cardio background never touching any weights. Last three months have been full body weight/cross training sessions.

Month 1 17/17
Month 2 19/16
Month 3 21/18

How much time was spent over the last three months? 60h52m
How many calories were burnt during these sessions? 39 500 (Calories not KJ)

Weight loss:

Starting weight (Jan): 108.2Kg
End Jan: 104.3 Kg
End Feb: 101.8 Kg
End March: 98.9 Kg

Total weight loss since Jan: 9.3kg

Belt loops: 3 down

Taking next week off in the Cape with 2-3 hikes planned.

Till next month!

Excellent. Enjoy the break you deserve it and it only makes the next phase easier. It is essential to good health so don't feel bad about it mkay!!

And another month done stats as follows:

Starting weight (Jan): 108.2Kg
End Jan: 104.3 Kg
End Feb: 101.8 Kg
End March: 98.9 Kg
End April: 98.1Kg

Total weight loss since Jan: 10.1kg

Took a week off gym first week April and had a slight back injury so took the next two weeks slow.

Also adding this:

So I did an inbody assessment at my gym just as initial hard lock down ended. Its the most detailed body stats I have. I am also not phased by weight loss slowing down as muscle gain has been substantial.

I havent done one in three years so did one today - im blown away by how much all the hard work and effort of just 4 months have done stats below:

Massive PBF drop from 25.6 to 18.7 and also loads of extra muscle mass.

I know its not 100% accurate but great to see!

See you next month

Finally hit a full 10kg down, this mornings check put me at 85kg's. Starting to get remarks from friends and colleagues now.

Will have to start thinking about getting some new pants as well.

Decided to go see GP and get an overall checkup done, so now just need to find time for the blood tests and then schedule a stress ecg.

It was a terrible month exercise wise for me. First I had issues with my knee and then had to sit a week out due to a cold (or the beginnings of one).

For weight loss the picture is much better. Lowest weight was 88.6 kg, but climbed up again towards the end of the month. I'm about halfway where I need to be. Would be super happy if I can lose another 10-15 kg.

Results:
Starting weight January: 106.5 kg
May: - 3.8 kg (Started out at 92.4 and ended at 89.1)
Current: 89.1 kg

And another month done stats as follows:

Starting weight (Jan): 108.2Kg
End Jan: 104.3 Kg
End Feb: 101.8 Kg
End March: 98.9 Kg
End April: 98.1Kg
End May: 97.8Kg

Total down: 10.4Kg

Started supplementing diet this month with extra protein and also started taking creatine.

My weight stayed pretty much stuck at the 88.x kg mark for most of the month then suddenly it seemed to start dropping this week. I'm currently at the lowest weight I've been in years. I'm almost at the 85kg goal I set myself at the start of the year.

Start: 106.5 kg (January)
End Jan: 101.6 kg (-4.9 kg)
End Feb: 96.1 kg (-5.5 kg)
End March: 94.2 kg (-1.9 kg)
End April: 92.9 kg (-1.3 kg)
End May: 89.1 kg (-3.8 kg)
End June: 86.2 kg (-2.9 kg)

Starting weight (Jan): 108.2Kg
End Jan: 104.3 Kg
End Feb: 101.8 Kg
End March: 98.9 Kg
End April: 98.1Kg
End May: 97.8Kg

Last month was 98.6kg. Im not really tracking weight anymore as the increase in muscle mass is messing with that and this is a number at the end of the day.

What have I achieved in the last six months?

100 gym visits. 74 000 calories burnt, 138 hours worth of exercise. 1 session missed. About 10kgs down (not to phased about numbers anymore). 3 Belt loops down. Avg resting HR from 75 to 55. More flexible than I have ever been can easily touch my toes now :) Fittest, healthiest, strongest, most confident I have ever felt.

This is now a lifestyle and will continue.

Minimum 4 gym sessions a week plus pilates on a monday.

Down another 2kg to 83kg now, the total for the year so far is 12kg. Carrying on for at least another 3kg to have lost 15kg.

Looking at BMI calculations I need to get down to 77kg though to just be considered in the outskirts of the "normal" range.

GP visit went well, everything was within bounds apart from being anemic but that's been the case since childhood.

End June: 86.2 kg (-2.9 kg)
End July: 84.3 kg (-1.9 kg)

I'm cheating slightly here. On the last day of the month my weight spiked up again to 85.4 kg, but the day before I was at my lowest yet with 84.3 kg so I'm using that as my month end weight.
