Yes the rest of us agree - even the judge says it'd be good for his mental health. Maybe someone ought to explain that bit to him.

The family of slain bride Anni Dewani is anxiously awaiting the screening of a TV documentary that promises to reveal the dealings of her husband and a hired hit man days after her execution-style murder.


Trial by media?

I wonder if our police have this footage.
 
I *think* I remember reading about this footage when it all came out ... so I'm sure they do.

It's just not public, but I'm sure by the 30 March it will be!
 
If there was a Jury Trial it could be prejudicial, However the SA Judiciary should not be influenced, so I don't think it will have any effect.
 
If the guy is still in the UK and his lawyers are fight the extradition to SA, won't this play into their hands? What stops them saying he wont get a fair trial because of this?
 
They have footage, i read the story while waiting for my chocochino this morning.

You see him go in with a bag and the other guy come our with the bag.
 
This footage was in UK newspapers some time ago. I think this affair will go the same way as the Arthur Brown / Fidentia saga. Year after year of delays and obfustication, only the lawyers score
 
It was in our paper long ago too.

They both agree there is money in the bag, but Dewani says it was for his tours and servies.
