so i'm on facebook this morning and a female acquaintance says "the ipad is sooooo amazing zomgwow" or something to that effect.
then this granny replies saying "have you tried a kindle?"
so the OP says "no, what's that?".

you can say what you want about apple products, but their most successful business is definitely their ability to clone sheep.

Who cares who came out with what first. Fact of the matter is Apple products work. Sure they have their problems now and then but who doesn't. I've been using a Mac for 3 years now and will most likely never go back to a Windows PC. It just works.

Sorry for all the haters out there, you're all most likely just jealous about not being able to afford the iPad.

I'm sorry, but this is just wrong.

When the iPhone came it it revolutionised the phone market because it had a LOT of stuff other phones didnt have - touch screen, app store, accelerometer and all that stuff

just because they launched a later model with 3G doesn't mean they left out 3G in the first model on purpose.

back when the iphone 1 was launched, it simply wasn't viable to put 64GB on it

what do you expect, that apple release something which NEVER will be needed to upgrade? How do you think technology works mate, there is always new tech coming out they can't possibly add every single feature on the planet that you will ever need in 1 device, which will never be needed to upgrade



with that mentality, we would still be sitting with 486 PC's because manufactures believe they don't need to add new features :confused:

Technology gets updated rapidly, Get with the program :D
 
I am always amazed at the sheer number of Droid, Symbian and Crackberry trolls that Surf the Apple forum looking for places to add in their 2 cents.....

I guess the main reason why they do it is to see what the other players in the smartphone world are going to do next.....

I would love to see a world where this forum was locked to trolls, they take a perfectly valid thread and F**k it up with their Bullsh*t...

If you dont like apple, then shut the hell up and start a new thread in the android sheep forum !!!

Apple contributes nothing ? what rock have you been hiding under ? Fact is, the last 8 years manufacturers have been falling over themselves trying to copy Apple. Look at the new gen phones - without a careful look you would swear it was an iPhone, they are all trying to copy Apple's excellent touch screen interface. Now - with the wildly successful iPad, companies are scrambling to try and produce something like the iPad - why did they not come up with something as good as the iPad first ?

Mp3 players - they all tried to make one as good as the iPod.....and failed

Proudly an Apple fan boy....for good reason :D

I was going to reply nicely to the OP, at least he seems to have an open mind... You do know that the ipod isnt even an mp3 player right? It plays .m4a files. So yes with supergeniusery like this I can understand why you're a fanboy. Oh and @ all the others, thanks for proving me right and all, with the acting like retards and insulting people and all.

Mine's jam packed full of MP3s, I doubt I even have a handful of .m4a's.

Play nicely now. ;)

Not really, the sales were always there. The Nokia N-series pretty much ruled the roost a few years back. What Apple did was to significantly eat into Nokia's market share, and make touch screen devices the norm rather than the exception.

Yeah my bad, converting to m4a is only the default, It does play mp3's as well.

m4a is MPEG 4 audio, you can use it to encode any sounds, including ringtones
