The Audi Thread

I have to say... I am over my A6 now. Been driving the A5 a LOT and really learned to appreciate her. This car is fantastic to drive and looks sexy to boot.
Just needed time to get over what I was uses to I suppose.

2009 A3 2.0T Sportback DSG, 100 000km
Should I be worried if its listed for under R175k? Asking for my mate actually, my future only has SUVs (for the wife) and bikes for me

Not at all. That's a market related price as far as I can see, albeit a good price, I wouldn't classify it as suspiciously low...

I don't think so. Dealers would be offering sub R125k I reckon.

Nice man!!!

There are only a very few things in life that are as satisfying and enjoyable as getting behind the wheel of your new car for the 1st time!!

Abso-friggin'-lootly!

Here's my new baby. Schweeeet upgrade from the TT comfort wise. Feels like a ship though, but the 3.0 TDi is up to the challenge. Added bonus: wife absolutely loves it. :)

Not jealous, at all... Nooooooooooooooooooooooooope.

After everyone bragged with their new rides I guess I can brag with "older" ride. Now almost 126K on the clock. She has her quirks, but its an awesome ride. Biggest issue it that suspension replacement is coming up. At least I knew the price of replacing DRC when not under service plan before buying, otherwise it would have been one hell of a shock.

Beautiful but wait is this a problem with all Audi's wtf.....also heard about gearbox but thought they were rumours damn that's balls

All shocks need to be replaced at some time. The only difference is that the DRC shocks costs a pretty penny. So its not really a problem with the car, its just something that can catch you unaware.

Have no issues with the gearbox. I know that other people report that they need to replace the clutch at times, but I guess that comes with driving style.

I am picking up my first Audi tomorrow, really excited, it's a 2010 Audi TT 2.0T FSI Coupe with 85 000Km and an extended service plan.

Audi Airport contacted me today. Said they got a 2012 A6 coming in if interested. FFS. And I finally got over wanting an A6 again.
