Who does it, and will it affect warranty (3rd party) or insurance? I naturally won't do a thing until the motor plan expires in a few months.
I have heard that sometimes the remap can improve fuel consumption too. True?

The mapping software, I was suggesting for turbo aspirated. Improved performance and fuel economy yes. Sarel Snyman at Torquetuning. Most of the heavy lifting is done by the turbo.
