The Bafana Bafana Thread

I happened to catch some of the u20 side. They look good. Just the number 10 is not a number 10 decent playmaker/support player he belongs somewhere in the midfield. But he cannot hit the goal to safe his life. Wild shots all off target.

There's a technical point for them to appeal so worth a try. But knowing fifa this is a waste of time.
 
My goodness we look lost against a 10 man Zim.. Think we might not qualify for the world cup.
 
From literally 98% qualified to this cos of that docked 3 points...which took 6 months to decide..not sure why I'm surprised there's always something with bafana
 
Atleast Benin'd last game is against Nigeria... Still a outside chance
 
Nigeria at home should beat benin.

If we win by 2 we will qualify. We sure as hell wont be in the playoffs now if we end up 2nd in the group

We are currently 2 points behind. A Nigeria win provided we win is enough. If we win and Benin draw then goal difference comes into it.

Results against the 6th place team in the group don't count...so basically this result is meaningless for 2nd even if we won...only found that out today looking at wikipedia

as u can see results against zim dont count...put the bottle down.not that it matters we ****ed either way cant get second as our GD is ****ed after that deduction. I forgive u cos it says in march they made that decision but this table wasnt updated till recently..and how can they just change the rules in the middle of qualification..baffles me, but so was the points deductions cos nobody appealed within the time frame.

It's unraveling fast, but let's beat Rwanda and even if we don't qualify, make a good showing of it.

Zimbabwe was always going to be difficult, especially with the added pressure.

The top of each group qualifies and then there is runner up spots or what ?

This perfectly demonstrates what's wrong with bafana.

No self respect, no belief just excuses and uselessness. Zimbabwe is not a threat (or difficult) to beat at anything.

We have a chance but I would not bet on it. Beating Rwanda is also not enough. We need Nigeria to beat Benin as well.
