Not sure exactly, I think it's more likely he may have just lost interest in Bafana Bafana which happens, we all change.

I'm sure he could have got a deal with a better PSL team if he really wanted to play for Bafana.

He has never been Broos favourite player to be honest, Broos has this thing that when he likes you he will go through your ups and downs with you, like he does with Foster or Makgopa, there was a time he selected Makgopa straight from the bench, there was a time he selected Siyanda Xulu without a team.

When he doesn't like you, one bad game and he drops you.
