hardly a surpise.

I've said it countless times, the system isn't good enough. Either we need to start tracking down kids with SA connections and handing out passports, or the SA football landscape needs to change.

SAFA needs functioning u23, u20 and u17 teams.
The PSL needs an u20 league and a working NFD.
The country's top schools need to take football seriously, or at least offer the sport.

Until that happens, we won't have sustained success.

It's goal difference for the World Cup, it was head to head for AFCON.

Ethiopia lead 2-1, SA now need CAR to score to advance. Nothing that happens in Durban matters any more.
