good news they will come back next year too.Easter must go away now. Can't help but snack on the odd marshmallow egg or two a day. 10g carbs each.
*edit* and yes I know it's passed but you try tell that to kids who were given a checkers packet fill of goodies and a wife who buys the boxes of 48 eggs because they're now R38![]()
When I bulk up again I might reintroduce oats as a post workout item. Probably in protein pancakes.
Have had to cut avo's out lately. Can only eat the haas ones and last I saw they were R78 for 4 at WW :wtf:
Eish... I LOVE *heart* avocados but for some reason they make me sick... Anyway, I am kind of concerned about some of the stuff I read here... people add 'banting' prefix to things they know they shouldn't eat - things which in a true banting diet are prohibited. A lot of you know my story about how I used to be humongous (137kg) and now I am (86.5kg) thanks to this specific diet in its purest form and I still do. Unless you're just having fun, but if you truly want to lose weight and see results quickly, you have to ditch the unnatural food passed on as banting friendly... Please. Just some Friday free advice.

It's like, add bacon to a donut and suddenly it is banting friendly.
Or make donuts with honey and almond flour instead of sugar and flour and suddenly they are banting approved.
Even if you use "banting" ingredients to make things like muffins and pancakes, I have a feeling you will end up eating more calories than you actually need.

It isn't as simple as saying it doesn't.
You can still get fat if you eat too much banting food, it just isn't as easy as if you eat carbohydrate rich foods. Remember almond flour and coconut flour still have carbs in them.
It isn't like banting gives you the ability to eat to excess on banting muffins and still be thin. Yes, you will be leaner than someone who eats to excess on normal muffins, but my point is, you are still eating more than you need.

Counting calories is the only time I see consistent weight loss. Otherwise I just stay the same weight.well which is it, the calories or the carbs? on pure LCHF you don't need to count calories
So not sure if this is the right place to ask but here goes.
Anybody know if one can buy the Wimpy Tomato Relish from them or somewhere else? (I'll be asking our local Wimpy tomorrow anyway when we pass there)

I love that stuff. And it is only 4 calories per serving. Will be perfect with my cottage cheese and tuna lunches at work.
Looked at it yesterday. Just not willing to pay that much for rusks.Bought some rusks from WW... R80 for 9...and they are small... not ouma's..!
But I suppose when you take into account the price of almond flour... its probably not to bad..
