so I went to colcacchios for pizza and I had the banting pizza. It was delicious. I haven't had pizza for ages. It was a bit small and it was expensive. I would like to find almond or cauliflower bases. Then I can make pizza at home!

Also, I think I hit my first plateau. I have weighed 85.2kg for a week then another four days later i was only 85.1kg. My next weigh in is on wednesday. But fortunately I know of the bumpy ride, so I am not too alarmed. I am just going forth like have been doing for the past 4 weeks.

I started full steam again on Monday. Made some pizza on Sunday, had them for lunch yesterday and today.

4 strips of streaky bacon, and 2 eggs for breakfast every morning, with some pressed coffee and cream.

Andiccio24 have great Banting base options:
- Cauliflower
- Pumpkin
- Zucchini

I normally order Zucchini (though the pumpkin base is very similar) and they actually manage to get the base crispy.

Where you pay through the nose for a measly topping, nope, made that mistake once too often. I think maybe 10gram of chicken for R20 or something, I was like wtf is wrong with you guys and got a blank stare in return, never again.

I had the hellotomato banting pizza (2 - 1 special) yesterday, leaves andiccio24 and their rip off toppings in the dust.

The problem is that hellotomato is not in Cape Town :(

Which branch did you order from? I find that the toppings are quite a decent amount and free delivery and very quick service. Granted the cost of the bases are quite steep.

My friend did the Paris Dakar rally a few years ago. And he said in the two weeks he dropped 14kg. He said he lost 1kg per day! He rode on a motorbike! and completed it!

A while ago I mentioned the macadamia nut flour+ cheese pizza bases I buy from a place just outside of town. They are made in Plett, vacuum packed and shipped frozen all along the coast. I thought I would share a blow by blow of the pizza I made tonight.

Base is R55 and I almost always make a pizza when our fridge has leftovers so toppings are cost effective. I only ever manage to finish a half of these per supper so it gives me 2 meals which is awesome :)

I have yet to try a banting pizza in a restaurant that compares to one of these (except the place in Plett where I bought a take away pizza from and it turned out to be one of these bases).

Can these be found in Cape Town?
