The Banting/LCHF Thread

probably the only processed thing I have in large amounts. That almost non-existent carb count is amazing and they're yummy, heh

well i havent really been doing them in large amounts but they not that bad tasting and sometimes with a little
butter and chilies in a pan it goes down really well!

Well I use a packet up in the course of a week - week and a half. They're awesome fried in butter and whacked inside of an almond flour cheese scone :D

we know it's kark, but why is it kark for you?

I would love to have something to, if feeling peckish, to just walk past the fridge and grab a vienna, or something similar/better/still good/or okay

I know you like the cock, but does eating ground up testicles also work for you? :p

So what times of day do you folks eat?

Almost a year into LCHF and I've pretty much settled into the following routine:
07:00-12:00 - Tea and coffee
12:00-12:30 - Light lunch (300ml of curry or stew)
12:30-18:30 - Tea and coffee
18:30-20:30 - Devour my kitchen until full

Almost similar to mine... except I devour the chicken at lunch time

As I have mentioned before, I am scared of non-nutritive sweetened cold drinks and cordials and their possible effect on insulin levels.

Out of interest, who of you drink diet cold drinks, which kinds and are you still losing / maintaining?

I am currently craving Stoney Zero and if I find it I may not be able to hold back.

I drink Sprite Zero very occasionally. Usually it's just water/coffee.

Not 100% banting but I couldn't resist some asian food, missed it too much. Chicken and Shiritake Noodles, with baby bok choi and asian broth. Was the best thing I've had in a while.

Well I think it depends on the brand. My Kikkoman soy sauce has no carbs

As far as I know, the dislike for soy based foods is more because they contain chemicals that act similar to female hormones.
