Better than?Good, but better?
We use macadamia nut butter instead. Too good!
Better than?
Well. First of, is waaay cheaper than macadamia nut butter. Secondly, I schit you not, but there wasn't even a hint of peanut butter taste, even though you could smell it while it bakedIt meant to come across as "the bread tastes even better when macadamia nut butter is used instead of peanut butter"
Bread is in the oven now, will be trying it as a banting braai broodjie later!Just had two slices of the bread with cheddar. One slice of cheese each on top, popped in micro for a minute to melt. Damn was nice to have melted cheese on bread again.

Just tried this for the first time. Amazing tip thanks. Tastes much better than any other banting bread I've tried. And texture just like bread. Good stuffdont forget if you want to make quick rolls - take the same recipe, but a third - so one tablespoon peanut butter (sugar free) one egg, about a third teaspoon baking powder, beat in a cereal bowl and microwave for 90 seconds - perfect banting roll for burgers etc in under 2 minutes.
