There was a legal grey area regarding wireless networks and the WUGs have been working extensively with lawyers and ICASA to become recognized, fully legal and fully compliant with the new ECA that was recently enacted.

these wugs dont provide internet access,or any other profiting service to the public, thus they dont need licenses or any crap

they dont use amps(like most wisps do), that polute and over radiate the wifi spectrum

all the equipment ive seen on sale is ICASA approved as well.

Just had another look at the Google Earth .KML file... it's incredible how much ptawug has grown recently...soon this will be MASSIVE!

- a handful of users.

now.. it's almost difficult to see dry land anywhere on the KML with the hundreds (if not thousands) of new users plotted on the KML file
