The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

I am bulking atm but picking up a little more than I want around my waist and I look 3 months pregnant after meals. At first not so much an issue first thing in the morning but now I can def see a belly in the morning too. I've picked up well in all muscle groups but the tummy is an issue now. I've cut down from 3 rice cakes for mid morning snack to 2 and 2 slices of brown bread with tuna and mayo to 1 slice and I am playing a bit of touch rugby on Monday's now - the only other cardio I do is 5min warm ups before exercise.

Then go on a cut. I lost 6.5 kgs in just over 5 weeks of clean eating and some added HIIT to my lifting schedule. My belly is almost gone and I've retained all my strength and most of my muscle mass.

The diet does suck though, so take full advantage of your weekly cheat meal.

I also take a PWO before gym and a serving of BCAAs during my workout.

Lunches I usually always do the chicken breast with brown rice and veg.

Dinners vary according to how much kcal I need to make up. Dinner is often fish, usually Salmon or Sole. No carbs with dinner whatsoever.

As far as snacks go, sometimes I'll do almonds and cashews or an avo, but the protein shakes are a staple.

so i decided to cycle off any sort of preworkout after an extended period on it -more than 12 weeks.
the constant pumps and full muscles were awesome.

1 week off preworkout and my muscles are noticeably flat and my gym sessions have been crap.
the first 3 days were OK but by the 5th day i was feeling like death in the gym.

how does one achieve that muscle fullness without any N.O or creatine supplement?

Muscle fullness is the pump right? You should be able to get that still, just push harder, get more blood flowing, add volume.

Unless you're referring to something else. I wouldn't know because pre workout doesnt work on me fuark

the pumps achieved with citrulline as an ingredient in preworkouts are not easy to achieve without it.

Fuark and when you stay on it, you get diminished returns?

Maybe just take the time to embrace the flatness and then feel like a god when you go back on.

You gotta look **** sometimes to feel like you look good at other times

if that makes sense.

The straps?

Mixed opinion on those I use them on shrugs as my wrists will not make it with the weight I use, but then again in my personal opinion I feel that when your joints can't keep up that is when you have reached the point and everything done beyond that point is not within your natural ability.

For bodybuilding who does that for career and not for health its fine but for me I workout for better health there is no other motive for me.

So I am now starting to avoid straps etc.

Looking at taking creatine to help with my recovery as I do crossfit 5-6 times a week but feeling a bit drained by the end of it.

I do currently eat quite well, and take a whey protein shake once a day after gym in the morning and some L-Glutamine at night.

Quite a few friends have mentioned the USN x4 creatine due to its combination of different creatines and they have all had good results with it, any one have any opinions on it? Should I be taking mono instead?
