The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Of all the reasons there are, this is not it.

On the contrary, overcompensating for your natural production of *insert any hormone here* is going to affect your body negatively. It's a good reason not to take roids. Or self-medicate. Especially if you're lazy.

you may have missed the original question good sir

If you get testicular cancer and they cut out your nuts, do you need TRT for the rest of your life?

Your body will no longer be producing any natural testosterone so you will need TRT

Yes, but the dosage is not nearly the same as a steroid cycle. A packet of Depotrone ampules is actually a year's supply which would be taken in 6 weeks if you are using it for gym/gains.

Interesting.

I noted that Furious Pete had a testicle removed because he had testes cancer twice.

Wonder if that means he's on TRT - He's never mentioned it and always speaks about steroids as if he's clueless about them.

Nope, I wasn't responding to IS about taking TRT to compensate for missing testicles. That was the point before the one I was responding to... about a packet of Depotrone lasting 6 weeks.

Somebody asked for photos of home gym setups.

Here is my very simple but effective gym.

Used to have a power cage. But when we moved I chopped it into pieces to make it more slimline for the garage.

Pull up bar. Also used for hanging leg raises. Killer core exercise.

Dip bars.

Bench, squat, overhead press station.

Dumbells and EZ Bar also in picture.

Oh. And I also have a spinning bike.

But it is in the living room. Cardio is a little less boring when I can catch up on TV shows.

Nice plate hangers! Some cool ideas in there. I like the way the stand is fastened to the wall...

Yeah I need it to be stable and able to take a punch.

Because I have nobody to help me I need to be able to just slam it back into the rack and down when I feel like I'm going to fail on a rep. Happens at times with bench and overhead press.

So I did deadlifts yesterday, and went to gym with shorts. What a fckup. Got 260kg up above the knee, and the bar got 'stuck' to my skin, and in pulling it up, I must have pulled out quite a few hairs on my legs :o  Fck it was quite sore afterwards :o

I find loose fitting tracksuit pants are the best for squats and deads.
