That sounds good, just mix it with a spoon?

Jip.

I do 150g double cream plain yoghurt. 2 scoops protein and a big scoop flaxseed powder. Start mixing.... At first you'll think it won't combine and is going to be too thick. Just keep mixing. Soon it will form the most delicious creamy caramel paste. Eat slowly and enjoy because you'll want more when it is done.... I totally lick the bowl sometimes

This happens though. When you are upright you may have abs but the minute you sit down your back fat bulges forward. You have to be very ripped for you to have a flat stomach when sitting.

Oh I know the feeling.

Down to a 4 pack again. Flat as hell stomach when upright. But let me sit down. Then I start thinking I'm a fat fark again. :crying:

So my MyProtein ordered arrived safely.

Here are my taste results of the flavours I ordered:

Salted Caramel: 4.5/5 (Very nice, definitely recommend)
Mocha: 2/5 (Did not like at all, and I'm a coffee freak, coffee and protein don't make a good mix)
Chocolate smooth: 4/5 (Better than all other protein brands' chocolate flavours, but nothing special)
Strawberry cream: 3.5/5 (See chocolate smooth, I'm just not a fan of strawberry protein)
Vanilla: 1.5/5 (Most horrendous vanilla flavour ever, do not recommend)
Blueberry Cheesecake: 5/5 (This is the best tasting protein I've ever had... OMG sooooooo good, definitely placing a huge order on this)

The 0 cal syrup is also very nice, you do taste the sweetener though, but it's not overpowering at all.

The protein pancakes are far too sweet, the batter is too runny, and they do not rise very well. Rather make your own and use the 0 cal syrup.

Hope this helps a few peeps wanting to order. On my next order I'll get a few more flavours to try.

Remember to use sean10 on your next order for a 10% discount :)

So @CarsinemiA made my curiosity get the best of me with his flavor reviews.

I ended up opening my Choc Mint bag as well. Just had it with my double cream yoghurt and I am in seventh heaven.

If I would rate the Salted Caramel 4/5 then the choc mint certainly gets a 5/5. Absolutely amazing.

It is pretty much just like eating a peppermint crisp chocolate... Just better because, well, no getting fat on this!!

DAMMIT!! I love peppermint crisp, but I am so affriad of the mint flavour being too fake when ordering whey. I will give it try when the pound goes below 17 ZAR again.

I don't know how you guys do it. Tried a few Whey shake flavours now, and they all taste off and make me feel a little queasy. I tried my chocolate Whey in low fat plain yogurt and almost threw up. I now just add 500ml of water to my shake and down it in a few gulps. Anything for gains right (just no placenta, ever)...

What's wrong with placenta?

Blend it up and chug it!

500ml of WATER! AYJ?

You can sneak it in your oats. You can sneak it in your yogurt. Add some fruit. Add cinnamon. I do not mind the flavour of whey but I know how disguise it. I used to but plain vanilla and amp it up with coffee, blueberries, hot chocolate.

or just eat chicken?

Nope - I just fill up my shaker and drink it in three or four gulps. Done in less than a minute. Thankfully it's only 1 shake a day.

Tried it, and hated it. I am on a rather strict diet so can't really mix it up with that much. Would rather endure the gulp fest and eat other wholesome calories. I eat around 5000 to 5500kjs (around 1300 calories) a day, so I have to watch my food like a hawk. Bloody sucks. I failed to maintain, so I am paying the price.

40% carbs
30% fat
30% protein

I am aiming for 100g of protein a day.

And yes, I am female. I am getting a steady fat loss of around 800g to 1kg a week (depending on my weekend willpower). I have lost cms in some places (around my bust and waist) and small increases in others like my arms and calves. So, I guess I have my macros and calories down to a decent point. My goal is fat loss while maintaining my muscle mass. Any criticism welcome.

Have you given intermittent fasting a go?

Have you given intermittent fasting a go?

Yeah, but not all the time. During the week, I eat 3 meals with two snacks. On weekends I fast as it allows me to go out and have food with friends and not feel like I am losing out on anything. I still watch what I eat on weekends, just my portions are slightly bigger and the food not so clean.
