Anyone in the Cape Town area keen to split a R2200 myprotein order? Works out to about R1100 each for 9 x 1kg of their impact protein - so R122/kg. Also keen to split with more people, just to take advantage of the free shipping.
I join in on that

For a certain variety of reasons I want to start using anabolic steriods. None of these reasons include anything that would amount to any ethical or moral dilemmas. I don't practise competitive sports nor am I planning on doing any of that in the next 50 years. It also won't lead to any psychological disorders. If using steriods, it would merely be course to an end that can't be attained through any other means.

I'm considering booking a consultation with my doctor and asking him to prescribe me. Do you think doctors generally shy from this or would my doctor comply after he listened to my reasons?

How much do you guess do anabolic steriods cost?

The doctor will NOT prescribe anabolic steriods. Perhaps testosterone if your levels are low.

Regarding costs, depends what you want but PLEASE go and read up how to cycle steroids CORRECTLY otherwise you will cause damage to things like your liver.

I have never taken, nor am I likely to take anabolic steroids, however, I did discuss the matter with my doctor, who is also into fitness.

He has a lot of people come to him regarding steroid use, and it's not as bad as most people claim, BUT, you have to do your research and get all the necessary tests before hand like testing your prostate, your natural testosterone etc.

It's also highly recommended to go for regular check-ups during your cycle to make sure you're not doing irreparable damage to your body.

He won't prescribe you steroids, it's illegal, but you can get some decent advice.

I thought it was only illegal if you do professional sports and unethical if it's just competitive sports.

I thought if performance enhancement doesn't affect anyone else, no-one would give a damn.

Would you say why you want to use or what you would like to achieve? I believe in giving people advice on things rather than they mess up.

No, it's actually a scheduled drug, like testosterone which is used mainly for hormone replacement therapy. The anabolic effect due to overdose (that is what you are doing when taking roids) is a side effect.

Right - doctors are not going to prescribe them for anabolic purposes.

No they are not. Even the on-label use (hormone replacement, for example) is very low dosage, like one ampule/shot/whatever of test per month, as opposed to two per week for anabolic use.
