The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Yeah that would probably be better for my back than the floor.

Cool.. just need to construct something to hang onto. Hmm....

God I hate my stomach + love handles

The idea was to cut from 81 +- to 75. Now I'm at around 76-77~ atm, but I'm not nearly as lean as I thought I would be. I store my fat like a woman srs, love handles, abdomen and thighs.

saddd

Only gonna cut for like another 2 weeks then saying **** it imma bulk to 90 lol.

Oh and I was measured at Tygerberg hospital as 169cm tall - but I refuse to believe that lol

I hear ya.

I have this stubborn last little layer that hides my sixpack that I'm trying to cultivate. Thing is I'm already at 67kg @ 175cm. When I dip down to 65 after a hard day of sweating it becomes quite a bit more evident.. so does that mean I should cut more?

PS. I've only been lifting for about a month or two (switched from super circuit)

Genetics - don't worry too much about it.
If you want proof, check the world hotdog eating champion out lol

Hmm, do you train abs a lot? Some people are really lean, but their abs don't show as much - like some marathon runners.

I've heard it's because they don't hypertrophy the abs so someone with more bf can actually look slightly bigger. but its probs very genetic as well

not as lean, but does a lot of compounds so he says his abs are developed. (his words, not mine. He's a youtuber AlphaDestiny)

That sounds quite light. Keep doing the weights and abs, making sure you have rest days between training the same muscle group. I reckon add a protein shake to your diet and try and build your muscles out, rather than trying to cut the last little bit of fat.

Cool.. that's just what I was hoping someone would say :)

I'm doing stronglifts and a bit of cardio 1 day and then the ab stuff at home the following day. Protein shake is also in there.

Good day I'm just curious which Whey protein is the best in SA under R500for 2Kg, As there is MP Combat but its 908g. Please help coz there's tons of Beef on which protein is legit. Thanks

Eat beef.

Early days but really digging stronglifts 5x5. The Overhead press is getting slightly challenging at 30kg (not counting bar weight as we don't have an Olympic bar). I guess I'll start battling in another 2/3 sessions or so.

I lift at work so no rack which I'm sure will put a cap on going too high :(

Yeah when it gets to about 60kg, I definitely need a rack
