I train solo most of the time and you always gotta leave one rep in the tank

I've had to do the roll of shame once or twice. No kakker feeling when you realise that you are not getting that bar off your chest and you are all alone in your garage.
My scariest moment was actually with a loaded barbell on my shoulder and lunges. It was hot, I wasn''t having a good day overall and on my 3rd and final set my one knee and back just completely caved in due to fatigue and lack of concentration. I thought I was going to break my back that day. Stopped right there and then that day and thanked the powers that may be that I picked up no injuries.
Try squatting with no clamps to hold the plates in place![]()

I do this one. Going heavy is keyDoes anyone have a good 4 day a week mass building programme that one could recommend?
I'd like to build for 4 days and do one day of cardio a week.
Been trying the The Buff Dudes 12 week programme with little success, as the final weeks are 6 days a week which I battle to commit to, as there is always something that comes up... so I'd like to split it down to 5 days a week, but add one day of cardio and 4 days of weight training.
Unless you guys can recommend something else?
Thank you!![]()
You are overthinking most things.
Missing a few days are not going to make a difference if you make this a long term goal/routine/lifestyle (which you should).
But to answer your question. It takes weeks of little to no activity for atrophy to happen. And even then you gain it back so much faster because of muscle memory.
Really?
