The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Had wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthetic on Thursday. Been on anti-Inflammatories, anti-biotics and painkillers until yesterday. Lost 3kgs in the week.

Went back to gym today and I have absolutely nothing. Was doing less than 25% of what I usually do.

Feeling really demotivated.

Hang in there. We all have those days.

I felt like that on Monday. No motivation and no urge to even get into the garage.

I skipped the workout and relaxed with the wife. At least you made it to the gym. Doing only 25% is still a lot more than doing nothing.

Tuesday I was back into the swing of things.

On a side note.

Sweaty palms is an irritation especially when it comes to deadlifts.

As a hobby I do woodworking and I always save the powder sawdust from my sander's bag for filling holes and imperfections in scrap wood I use.

So tonight I noticed that I would run into grip problems again with deadlifts and I noticed the container with sawdust and I thought I'll give it a shot.

Worked perfectly and it saves me from going out to buy chalk.

So you were a whole week on that ****? What did you eat? I'm thinking of getting mine removed, but they erupted perfectly and I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble.

Didn't eat much. Protein shake and some soft food. It was uncomfortable enough to knock my appetite but not too bad.

Mine were impacting and causing issues so I just got it done.

What benefit do you believe you derive from steaming the proteins?

It sure beats the heck out of cooking them.

But I don't use it for that, I use it because preping six meals a day is a heck lot more convenient using the steamer.

I do however believe that steaming your food is way more healthier than boiling all the nutrients out unless you make some sort of boiled soup.

What is your prep and time for sweet potatoes?

Peel em? Cube em? Poke em? Time to cook? Tender whole way through?
Cut them into slices (as think as you like) put in the microwave for 20min, then into the oven for another 15min with some olive/coconut oil and spices. Delicious.

I recently parted ways with my SO and checking for companies that prep your meals for the week, as Im not ready to get back into the kitchen routine as yet... Noticed there are quite a few companies and some even specializing on meals for active/fit individuals. Did anyone on this thread use their services and if so would you recommend?
